Introduction:

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share a truly heartwarming couple’s session I recently shot in Kadrioru Park. This place is always beautiful, but this session was extra special because it brought together a love story that started right here last year during the light festival. The couple met at Kadriorg, so naturally, we had to come back to this magical spot to capture their love story in full bloom.

Setting the Scene:

The vibes for this session were a perfect mix of calm and fun—just like the couple themselves. We set up a cozy little picnic right by the Kadriorg Art Museum, surrounded by greenery and the historic charm of the park. It was such a serene spot to start our shoot, with the museum providing a stunning backdrop. As we moved through the park, we even made our way down to the seaside, where the calm waters and soft light added to the romantic atmosphere.

One of my favorite parts of the session was capturing the couple at the very spot where they first met during the light festival. It was like coming full circle, and you could really feel the connection between them. What I love most about sessions like this is the mix of prompting and traditional posing. Rather than stiff, formal poses, I prefer to prompt my couples with little actions or questions that bring out their natural interactions. It’s in those moments—the little smiles, the way they hold each other, or the quiet laughter—that I capture the most authentic and heartfelt images.

Of course, we also mixed in some classic poses to balance things out, but it was those spontaneous, unguarded moments that really told their story. The picnic setup added a relaxed, intimate vibe to the session, and we had a lot of fun as we strolled through the park and along the coast.
